You will probably know hand sanitier is very drying on the hands due to the high alcohol content it contains. Not only will it dry your skin, it will also dry your nails out.
Keeping gel nails hydrated is key to a long lasting manicure. If you nails dry out they will start to pull away from the gel.
How to keep your gel looking good for longer:
1. Use cuticle oil at least twice a day. This will helps to add moisture back into the nail and nourish the skin surrounding your nails.
2. Where possible, wash your hand with soap & water rather than using sanitiser.
3. Follow hand washing with hand cream to hydrate your hands & nails.
4. When using bleach/disinfectants - wear gloves. Harsh chemicals can lead to nails prematurely lifting.
